Response Education was established by Peter Leech , a former Secondary School Headteacher who transformed one school and led another one out of Special Measures . He has also served as Director of the DfES Virtual Education Action Zone and was Senior Adviser for Oxfordshire before becoming Head of Consultancy for a leading national training company.
Response Education employs a team of associate trainers with a variety of specific areas of expertise and experience. This team covers all of the areas within the BEST model of school improvement at both primary and secondary levels.
It is a fundamental belief of everyone at Response Education that the most effective form of support for schools is that which meets the needs identified by each individual school and that there is no single magic key to the complex issue of school improvement. We aim to be as responsive and flexible as possible within the context of the BEST model. This may involve us in working with teachers or students in the form of workshops, training, in class support, coaching, mentoring, development of resources distant support, or curriculum development. All these are applied to programmes built around the specific needs identified as priorities at that time by the school.
